Settings for the Edit Configuration utility are not well understood or documented. Because you’re prompted to select a Database Configuration when running the utility, most believe the settings are specific to a database configuration. Some are saved in the MAP.INI file which apply to all users in a shared database configuration. However others are stored in the registry on a per program, per version and per user basis. This makes them hard to manage consistently in an enterprise. For this reason, I’ll document them here. This will allow you to manage them using the Registry and automation.
Edit Configuration Utility
The Edit Configuration Utility can be found in each of the Fabrication Product’s folders. It’s the same program, but presents different options depending which folder it’s run from. You can find the program here…

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication <version>\<product>\editmap.exe
